The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Neustupov is protected as a cultural monument.
Culture
The Jewish cemetery of Neustupov is located 1 km northwest of the town, between fields. Around 200 gravestones and a reconstructed mortuary have been preserved there; the cemetery is freely accessible.
Neustupov Castle is a two-wing Renaissance building with an arcade in the entrance wing and a later-added polygonal corner tower. The entrance hall is part of the original Gothic fortress from the 12th century. In the east wing, the ground floor, part of the first upper floor and several portals of the older fortress have been preserved; remains of Renaissance sgraffito can be found on the exterior façades.
History
The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk was built in 1852 at the upper corner of Neustupov’s market square. The Kaplířova lime tree next to Neustupov Castle is more than 600 years old.

Neustupov lies in a valley landscape surrounded by forests, hills, ponds and fertile fields. The town is located about 3 km from the Benešov–Tábor national road, in the direction of Mladá Vožice.
Cycling
Cycle Route 0042 passes through Neustupov along the Sedlec-Prčice–Heřmaničky–Oldřichovec–Neustupov–Jankov route.
