Pětikozly: Hotels and Accommodation

Pětikozly showcases its historical character through vernacular architecture and a memorial cross. The village’s history includes a municipal chronicle, begun in 1935 and written retrospectively from the earliest history of the municipality through 1938.

History

The former Pětikozly hunting lodge has been documented since 1540 as an estate recorded in the land register and was built on the site of an earlier fortress. The historic building is currently not open to the public.

Cycling

After passing through Březovice and Katusice, KČT cycle route No. 143 branches off towards Pětikozly. After this turn-off, it runs through Rokytovec into the Jizera Valley.

The nearby surroundings of Pětikozly include Daměře Hill (Bukovno-Líny) and Niměřický vrch Hill (Sovínky). Mount Lysá is also located in the area.
