Počaply: Hotels and accommodation

The elongated Šance hill rises north of Počaply to 514 m above sea level. The Vinice mountain is located nearby; Štěrbina mountain is in the surrounding area, while Rampaška hill is in the vicinity. In the wider regional area lies Velká Třemošná mountain.

The protected zone of the Březnice–Oblouček natural monument covers areas in the cadastral territory of Počaply u Březnice.

On a wooded spur about 1 km north of Počaply lies Hradiště Šance (Bozeň), a two-part fortified site covering approximately 1.6 ha. Hradiště Bozeň can be reached from Myslín or Dobrá Voda u Březnice via a blue-marked hiking trail.

Several restored crosses from the mid-19th century are located in the cadastral territory of Počaply. The first written mention of Počaply dates from 1380, when Jodocus de Poczapl was mentioned. The bell of Saint Mark was donated to the municipality of Počaply by Jan Josef z Újezda in 1702.

The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Počaply dates from the mid-13th century and retains its original spatial layout. The church complex includes an open chapel at the southeastern corner of the cemetery.

The historic site of Lety u Písku (Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách) is located near Počaply. In the wider regional area lie Zvíkov Castle, the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast ruin, and the Zřícenina Valdek ruin.
