Radonice: Hotels and Accommodation

Jízdárna Radonice offers the public comprehensive classical riding instruction. The Jízdárna Radonice riding school teaches riding, including the basics of horse care.

Activities

Sportcentrum Radonice also offers outdoor tennis, table tennis and beach volleyball. Tanzania Jump, an indoor children's trampoline park, is located on the grounds of Sportcentrum Radonice.

Nature

At Radonice Zoo Park, visitors can pet some of the animals during feeding. Various species of birds, domestic animals and wild animals can be seen at ZOOPark Radonice. Visitors can move freely around the grounds of Radonice Zoo Park.

Velké Benátky is located near Radonice and is an island. In the wider regional area around Radonice are Slovanský ostrov, Střelecký ostrov and Veslařský ostrov; all three are islands.

Culture

Traditional events are held regularly in Radonice throughout the year, including the burning of witches, Children's Day, a parents' evening, the church fair and an open-air Christmas theatre performance by local amateur actors.

Radonice Cultural Centre consists of Obecní dům and Rodinný park Amerika. Both facilities are used for cultural and social events as well as leisure activities.

The former fortress of Radonice has disappeared completely. The houses numbered 22, 23, 25 and 41 now stand in its place, along with a well, an inaccessible remnant of a cellar and a presumed filled-in underground passage.

The Golz-Kinsky Palace and Palác Kinských are located in the wider regional area around Radonice; both are palaces. Also located in this wider regional area are Galerie Rudolfinum and Stará kanalizační čistírna Praha-Bubeneč; both are museums.

Getting There

Sportcentrum Radonice can be reached by bus 367 from Praha Černý most, by bus 376 from Praha Letňany, and by buses 367 and 376 from Brandýs nad Labem. The stop is called Radonice.
