Tehov: Hotels and Accommodation

Tehov is home to the Church of St. John the Baptist, which was originally Gothic and extensively rebuilt in the Baroque period. On the hill north of Tehov, near the wayside shrines at U Křížku, there is a linden tree that was declared a memorial tree of the Czech Republic in January 2017.

Culture and Local Life

The Tehovský kulturní spolek organizes cultural events such as Christmas and Easter markets, the burning of witches, carnival celebrations, and a Dragon Day. In the vicinity of Tehov is the settlement of Spojené osady Údolí Raků, which originated from the neighboring settlements of Údolí Raků, Miriam, and Zapomenutých and continues to hold sports tournaments and races.

Nature and Recreation

The “Okolo Tehova za přírodou i historií” route passes by the two forest ponds, Jedlice and V Doubí. In the vicinity of Tehov, a shelter by Jedlice Pond provides space for a snack break.

Tehov’s sports and bike park has a pump track with an integrated dirt-jump course. It is freely and publicly accessible year-round; individual areas may be closed for maintenance.
