The Rozhledna Ládví lookout tower was built in 2011 on the 488-meter-high Vlková summit above the settlement of Ládví.

Nature and trails

The Rozhledna Ládví lookout tower can be reached by car, bicycle, or on foot via the blue-marked hiking trail from Ládví. The tower is 45 meters high; its viewing platform is 25 meters above the ground and can be reached via 150 steps.

Cycling route

Cycling route 0029 runs from Strančice via Velké Popovice and Kamenice to Nová Grybla. Its route uses paved forest paths, local roads, and roads with light traffic.

Landscape

The hills of Milíř [Velké Popovice-Lojovice], Lipový vrch [Pyšely], Grybla [Krhanice], and (Na Padesátce) [Petříkov u Velkých Popovic] are located in the immediate vicinity of Ládví.

Culture

In Ládví, the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk is listed as an immovable cultural monument under catalog number 06244. The chapel in Ládví is listed as an object of heritage conservation interest. The memorial to those fallen in the First World War in Kamenice-Ládví stands in a small park on the main road.

From 1945 to 1947, the initiative “Zámky na záchranu židovských dětí z koncentračních táborů and later German children from Czech internment camps” was carried out; the Penzion Bellevue in Ládví was also involved later. A total of 810 children passed through these facilities.
