Culture and History

The Church of St. Martin in Líbeznice is a single-nave, rectangular church with a square presbytery, side sacristies, and a tower at the front. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument. A lightning conductor was installed on the Church of St. Martin in Líbeznice by the Prague professor Antonín Renner; at the time, it was considered the first church in Bohemia to have such a lightning conductor.

The Chapel of the Virgin Mary on Nádražní Street in Líbeznice dates from the second half of the 18th century. The late Baroque stone bridge, which is considered a surviving relic of the so-called Imperial Road, also forms part of the town’s architectural history. The Baroque rectory in Líbeznice has a mansard roof and dates from the first half of the 18th century.

Leisure Activities

The “Duhovka” sports and leisure complex in Líbeznice has a traffic training area inside the athletics track.

“Magical Aces” is a family magic show at Pavel Kožíšek’s Magic Theatre in Líbeznice. Pavel Kožíšek’s Magic Theatre provides free parking for cars and buses for its visitors.
