Střemy: Hotels and Accommodation
The Štampach Water Mill is a protected cultural monument and a unique mill complex. It was built on the site of a medieval fortress.
Culture and Townscape
The centre of Střemy consists of a steeply sloping village square with a pond lined by closely spaced farmsteads.
The protected components of the Střemy No. 24 farmstead include the original residential building with a barn located in the third section, as well as the delimited plot. The rural farmstead dates from the 17th century and comprises a rendered, single-storey timber-framed residential building and a single-storey masonry residential building.
The single-storey house at Střemy No. 19 on the north-western side of the village square is an example of Neoclassical architecture. It stands on a high plinth with a porch and has a simple Neoclassical façade and a semicircular vaulted gate with pilasters. The two-storey house at Střemy No. 33 is a rare example of timber construction.
The publicly accessible remains of the old Štampach Water Mill at Střemy 59 include rooms and a millrace carved into the rock.
The Střemy Pumpkin Festival is held as a local event; the 11th edition is scheduled for 3 October 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Náves Střemy. Koupaliště Střemy serves as a venue for an open-air cinema.
