The Tachlovický Fault is an important geological anomaly named after Tachlovice.

Culture

The free-standing Church of St. James the Greater in Tachlovice stands on the site of a Romanesque church. It was rebuilt and consecrated on October 21, 1742.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows was first mentioned in 1745. During the renovation of Jakubská náves in 2016, it was restored to its original appearance. It stands on the northern edge of Jakubská náves and is one of the oldest architectural monuments in Tachlovice.

The entrance to the Tachlovice cemetery is through a simple Baroque gate with a cornice divided by segmental forms. The cemetery contains a pyramid-shaped gravestone dating from 1798.

By the turn of 2023/2024, only the trunk remains of the Tachlovice memorial willow, after its last branches with new growth broke off.

Nature

Fossils occur in the limestone deposits in the Tachlovice area; the paleontologist Joachim Barrande made significant discoveries in the region.

TC Tachlovice has four clay courts and a tennis school.

Events

The competition for historic motorcycles and automobiles, Tachlovický trojúhelník, has been held since 1976 and is now considered a traditional and well-known event.
