Tupadly: Hotels and Accommodation

The château in Tupadly is a protected immovable cultural monument. Tupadly is also registered as an archaeological area with documented or reasonably expected archaeological finds from the Neolithic period, the Lusatian culture, as well as the Middle Ages and the modern era.

Tupadly was first mentioned in 1242; the local fortress is explicitly documented in 1371. The original fortress was converted into an early Baroque château between 1636 and 1640. Tupadly Château is not open to visitors.

Sights in Tupadly include a Baroque gate and a pavilion. The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Tupadly dates from the 19th century and was restored at the beginning of the 21st century. It stands in the centre of Tupadly on a small village square opposite the Baroque gate by the château and is freely accessible.

Pivovar Tupadly offers guided tours with expert explanations of the production area, followed by a beer tasting; advance reservation is required. The earliest mentions of Pivovar Tupadly date back to 1735.

Pivovar Tupadly's regular selection includes the pale lager “Tupadelská 10°” at CZK 105 per 1.5 l, the pale lager “Tupadelská 11°” at CZK 110 per 1.5 l, the dark lager “Tupadelská 12°” at CZK 120 per 1.5 l, and the strong beer “Tupadelská 13°” at CZK 120 per 1.5 l.

The CKH11 cycle route passes through Tupadly. It is 66.3 km long, with a possible deviation of ±5%, and is suitable for children.
