Zbýšov: Hotels and Accommodation
Zbýšov is located in a gently rolling landscape south of Čáslav, on the southeastern edge of the Central Bohemian Region. Dense mixed forests extend to the municipality on almost all sides, and the municipal area lies along the upper reaches of the Klejnárka River.
Water Landscape
The historic pond system in Zbýšov included Zbýšovský Pond as well as the Punčoška, Střevíček and Pilský ponds. Zbýšovský Pond has two beaches: the southern one is below the municipal office, while the northern one is by the Dejvid kiosk. Both offer a shallow entry into the water. The pond is primarily used for fishing; swimming is also possible, but at your own risk and responsibility.
History and Architectural Heritage
The municipality of Zbýšov is first mentioned in historical sources in 1257. Buildings No. 1 and 3 of the former farmstead are considered the oldest surviving structures in Zbýšov.
