Hněvčeves: Hotels and Accommodations

The Church of St. George in Hněvčeves features a profiled late Gothic portal. The single-nave building with a rectangular ground plan and a right-angled presbytery has been recorded as a parish church since the 14th century.

Culture

The architectural surroundings include the parish house with a mansard roof, built in 1767. Another historical connection is the composer Jan Křtitel Vaňhal, who worked at the local parish school in 1759. There is also a war memorial beside the church commemorating the victims of the First World War.
