Humburky: Hotels and Accommodation

The fortress of Humburky was first mentioned in 1615 and disappeared during the course of the 17th century.

Culture and Local History

The Chapel of Saint Salvator at the crossroads to Koláč was restored and reconsecrated in 2000. Humburky is also home to a statue of Saint Wenceslas, a valuable sculpture from 1748 by an unknown artist.

The Humburky Municipal Museum houses a collection of scales. It also displays a collection of kitchen grinders which, by number of pieces, ranks among the largest in the Czech Republic, as well as a collection of poppy-seed and breadcrumbs mills.

Local Traces

Chicory coffee was produced in Humburky until 1949. Horse breeding in Humburky was recognized in 1985 as a breeding facility for Czech Warmbloods. There is a swimming pool for recreational use.
