Rampuse: Hotels and Accommodation
Rampuše is located in a hillside valley crossed by a stream in the Podorlická Uplands. The first mention of the village dates back to 1544.
Culture and History
At the bus stop in Rampuše stands the smaller Baroque Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows, dating from 1745. A new bell for the chapel in Rampuše was consecrated on August 1, 1920. The Neo-Gothic Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was consecrated in 1868 and stands near House No. 16. In the immediate vicinity of this chapel stands a monument to those who fell in the First World War, erected in 1921.
Above the pond in Rampuše stands a statue of Rampepurda. It was created by academic sculptor Michal Moravec from Hořice. Rampuše is also home to a wooden statue of Rampušák. Rampušák is depicted as the patron and protector of the Orlické Mountains.
Kristýna, known as Rampepurda, was born and lived in Rampuše; she is associated with the character from Karel Poláček’s novel “There Were Five of Us”.

A red-marked hiking trail from Zdobnická Seč to Liberk passes through Rampuše.
Agriculture and Regional Products
The seasonal Farmářův dvoreček at Sokolí hnízdo allows children to get to know domestic animals and learn about life on a farm. It operates only during the summer months.
At Sokolí hnízdo, visitors can sample products from Farma SOKOL, including sausages and yogurt.
