Rohenice preserves several notable testimonies to its history: The Church of St. John the Baptist, a filial church dating from the 14th century, houses a rare late Gothic winged altarpiece from 1533.

The wooden bell tower stands outside the church grounds in the open space in front of the western main façade of the Church of St. John the Baptist and was built before 1652.
Further historical elements can be found in the village itself: Rohenice is home to a preserved single-story rural wooden house built using log construction, with a characteristic gable design. There is also a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1821, as well as a stone cross from 1876.

The landscape of Rohenice is characterized by two hills and a valley between them. The Žďár Forest lies on the edge of the cadastral area. Other features of the local landscape include the municipal pond, designated as a biocentre, and a fire reservoir designated as a swimming area.

One culinary aspect of the village is represented by the Rohenické posvícení: At this festival, a menu featuring duck, schnitzel with potato salad, Pavlišov, and Svíčková with cream sauce was offered.
