Třebešov combines village cultural history with tangible traces on site, a small fire service museum, a traditional football tournament and landscape connections in the surrounding area and the wider region.
Culture and Local History
The former Třebešov fortress was demolished in 1978. Only faint traces in the terrain remain at its former site; according to the owners, there are also numerous finds of tiles and ceramics there. The Urnfield monument in Třebešov dates from 1911.
On the edge of the village in the direction of Černíkovice stands a monument to the legionnaires of Třebešov. The village square is home to a small glass-enclosed fire service museum, which includes, among other things, a fire pump on display.
Kaple sv. Václava is a village chapel with eclectic architecture. The older Kaple sv. Václava was built in 1835.
Event in the Village
The Matrix Cup is a traditional small-sided football tournament held in Třebešov on the last Saturday of the summer holidays. The Matrix Cup celebrated its 25th anniversary; the 26th Matrix Cup was announced for 2023.
