Daßnitz: Hotels and Accommodations

In the center of Dasnice lies an archaeological area in category UAN II. The archaeological site there dates to the transition from the Late Middle Ages to the modern era. The townscape also includes traditional Cheb half-timbered houses, which have become rare today.

History

Chlumek Castle, originally Perglas, was built in 1570 as the seat of the Šlik and Pergler von Perglas families. In the 18th century, Chlumek Castle was converted into a Baroque castle. The present-day building of the fortress in Chlumek is a Renaissance structure and was later converted into a granary. The Nosticovský Nový Zámeček near Chlumek Castle dates from 1900.

The local historical references also extend beyond individual buildings: A protected small-leaved lime tree is the first tree in the avenue at the bend in the eastern part of the settlement and is historically connected with the rural castle. Ceramic finds have been recorded for an unspecified field near Dasnice.
