St Andrew's Church in Luby is a late Romanesque building and one of the oldest ecclesiastical monuments in West Bohemia. Its Romanesque tower is the church's only surviving Romanesque architectural element. The Chapel of Our Lady was built in 1716 in Luby's municipal cemetery and extensively reconstructed in 1993. The chapel is listed in the central Czech register of immovable cultural monuments. Other prominent local monuments include the Marian Column, a stone column dating from 1699 with a striking double-sided Madonna and Child, and the Statue of the Violin Maker. The latter was created in 1926 and unveiled in 1927 in recognition of the local violin makers and instrument manufacturers.

Most of Luby lies in the Lubská vrchovina highlands. Its highest elevation reaches 675 m above sea level in the northern border area of the municipal territory. Outside Luby's cadastral territory lies the Vysoký kámen quartzite rock formation. It is easily accessible from Luby and offers panoramic views over Czech and German territory; from the Pod Vodárnou turn-off, mountain bikers and cyclocross riders can follow a forest path to the natural monument. The rock is 3.5 km from the turn-off and offers a view of Luby.

The Zámecká Alley in Horní Luby is an approximately 700 m-long avenue of ash, maple, and oak trees along an old road. Its trees were declared memorial trees in 2002. In addition, four densely grouped, heavily branched beech trees on the golf course are protected.

The Lubsko educational trail begins at náměstí 5. května and comprises 17 stations; it can also be cycled. Local Cycle Route 2132 is 5 km long, or up to 11 km with detours, moderately difficult, and suitable for touring bikes. Its starting point is at the Luby–Wernitzgrün tourist border crossing.

Local Cycle Route 2180 follows an 18 km-long, difficult mountain bike route from Luby towards Opatov and Libocký Důl. It begins at Luby railway station, the terminus of railway line 146 Cheb–Luby. The Cheb–Luby section of National Cycle Route 23 is 36 km long, moderately difficult, and also suitable for touring bikes.
