Ovesné Kladruby lies at the foot of Podhorní vrch. The mountain is 847 metres high, is described as the highest mountain in the Tepelská vrchovina highlands, and is an extinct volcano. The mountain Podhorni vrch is also located in the vicinity of Ovesné Kladruby; the mountains Spálený, Lysina and Sténský vrch are nearby.

PP Podhorní slatě near Ovesné Kladruby contains some of the best-preserved complexes of wetland and bog vegetation in the Slavkovský les Protected Landscape Area. Several orchids grow there, along with common lousewort and the rare marsh lousewort; numerous protected bird and butterfly species also live there.

The Milhostovské mofety are located in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Ovesné Kladruby and can be reached via a 2.5-kilometre-long yellow-marked local route. They are a protected natural monument established to protect sulphurous gas emissions. The mofettes consist of circular craters, usually no more than 0.5 metres deep, from which sulphurous gases escape.

Ovesné Kladruby is already mentioned as a parish centre in 1242. The Church of St Lawrence was rebuilt into its present form in 1747–1748. It is a single-nave Baroque church with a rectangular floor plan and a prismatic tower, dating from 1748. The church stands on the site of an older sacred building that burned down.

The Ovesné Kladruby rectory is a single-storey building erected in 1830 by Antonín Thurner from Teplá Monastery, modelled on Baroque farm courtyards. The war memorial in Ovesné Kladruby has its original inscription restored, plaques bearing the names of those who fell in the First World War, and an eagle sculpture once again.

The stone Renaissance wayside shrine near Ovesné Kladruby was erected around 1600 at a crossroads on the road to the former execution site on the hill called Am Galgen. Its chapel contains reliefs of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ with the Calvary group, and the Flagellation of Christ.

The rural estate “Venkovská usedlost” in Ovesné Kladruby dates from the third quarter of the 19th century and is an exceptional example of a rural residence with an arcade. The reconciliation cross on the road from Ovesné Kladruby to Mrázov bears neither an inscription nor a relief. The municipal school in Ovesné Kladruby also served the municipalities of Milhostov and Vysočany and had three classes with 120 pupils.
