Münchhof: Hotels and Accommodation

Mírová reveals different facets that can be traced through its history, landscape, and townscape.

Culture and History

The former fortification of Mírová featured a drawbridge, walls, and a moat and fell into disrepair at the end of the 18th century.

The chapel in Mírová was built in the second half of the 19th century during the emergence of romanticising Neo-Gothic architecture. In 1996, it was entered on the central list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic as an immovable cultural monument. The chapel is used as a pilgrimage site and for cultural and social purposes.

Cycling Route

Cycle Route No. 2227 covers the Mírová–Na Cechu section and runs mostly away from motorised traffic.

Bodies of Water

The Chodovský Potok 1 fishing district extends from the confluence with the Vlčí or Jimlíkovský stream near Mírová to the springs. The official Chodovský Potok 1 fishing district also includes the 0.3-hectare PR 04 Mírová retention basin.

Landscape and Townscape

The houses and settlement areas of Mírová lie on both sides of the Chodovský potok. The Buková, Chrudim, and Lobezský vrch mountains, the Schlackenwerth Monastery, and Bukový vrch are located in the vicinity of Mírová.

Other places: Schömitz, Hochofen, Buchau, Neu Rohlau, Landeck, Stiedra, Engelhaus, Bergstadt Platten
