The castle complex of Toužim documents the architectural development of the town and its earliest urban development. It comprises the Upper and Lower Castles, the manorial brewery, and part of the west wing of the farmyard.
Culture
The Upper Castle preserves a Romanesque-Gothic core. This originated from the residential building of the provost's house and was converted into the donjon of a noble castle after 1437.
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was built at the town fortifications of Toužim at the end of the 15th century. Its interior contains wall paintings by J. J. Kramolín from 1778. The church also includes a Gothic north tower and a Baroque side chapel of the Suffering Christ dating from 1699.
The Marian Column is one of Toužim's notable architectural monuments.
Nature
The St. Blaise educational trail is approximately 3 km long. It partly follows a maintained dirt road, crosses meadows, and runs along an asphalt road in its final third. Its stations explain natural features, historical connections, population movements, traditional crafts, and cultural monuments.
The St. Blaise educational trail runs through the area around Blažejský Pond near Nežichov and lies within a Natura 2000 network area.
Pilgrimage
The Skokovská Trail connects Toužim with Skoky. In the surroundings of Toužim, the pilgrimage chapel near Lachovice is located on a historic pilgrimage route that processions from Toužim, Útvina, and Otročín regularly used to reach the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Skoky.

The Toužim Information Centre provides tourist information about local sights and events.
An information board in the village square of Prachomety provides visitors with information about the Střela River and the history of the village. The source of the Střela River is marked in Prachomety near Toužim; if it is located on private property, it may be visited with the owners' permission.
