Horn: Hotels and Accommodation

Hory lies on the northwestern slope of the Suk–Hornaberg, which shapes the landscape in the immediate vicinity of Karlovy Vary. The Svatošské skály are located in the cadastral area of Hory. The area around the Suk–Hornaberg is known for occurrences of the so-called “Karlovy Vary twins.” In the vicinity of Hory, there is also a site registered as an important geological locality, with a globally unique occurrence of twinned potassium feldspars.

From the Lesní vyhlídka or Jeskyní vyhlídka viewpoints, the view extends along the course of the Ohře as far as Loket. Walks from Farma Hory lead to Lesní vyhlídka or Jeskyní vyhlídka; from there, there is a view of the Svatošské skály. A cycle path and a hiking trail pass through Farma Hory.

For the Feast of Saint Wenceslas, bells, chapels, and other sacred structures are consecrated in Hory. On the Sundays of Advent, gatherings with mulled wine and pastries are held in Hory. Epiphany processions take place in Hory. Local traditions in Hory include the burning of Moréna and the Witches’ Fires.

Artistic activities in Hory are represented by Studio Malíská and Helena Košťálová’s ceramics workshop.
