Eldorádlo is an approximately 7-kilometer-long adventure trail for pedestrians and cyclists that can be started at any location in Rádlo.

Nature

The Přírodní památka Rádlo nature reserve covers an area of 3.5 hectares within the built-up area of the municipality of Rádlo. It comprises sedge fens as well as adjacent waterlogged stands of alder and birch, and protects rare and endangered plant and animal species.

Maršovicky vrch, Černá Studnice, Ještěd and Pustina are mountains in the vicinity of Rádlo.

Things to do

Eldorádlo includes 12 themed rest and recreation stations. The children’s trail Stezka Veverky Berty is also part of the route; children can complete playful tasks and solve a crossword puzzle along it.

The Naučná stezka Rádlo educational trail is an approximately 500-meter-long path through the center of the municipality of Rádlo. Its seven stations focus on botany, ecology and zoology.

Culture and history

Getsemanská zahrada is a protected ensemble of sandstone sculptures on the village square in Rádlo, directly next to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Nejsvětější Trojice. The church is a landmark of Rádlo village square. The present-day Neo-Baroque church was built in 1931 to a design by Jablonec architect Karel Rössler and extended in 1948.

Replicas of the sculptures from Getsemanská zahrada were ceremonially unveiled at the end of 2014 on the village square in Rádlo next to the church.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, also called Sedmibolestné, in the settlement of Milíře is the oldest surviving monument in this district of Rádlo. The fully restored, protected sandstone chapel stands at a crossroads of hiking trails near the Císařský kámen lookout tower and is a popular stop for visitors from the surrounding area.

Valdštejn and Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice are churches in the wider region around Rádlo.
