Puletschnei: Hotels and Accommodations

Puletschnei combines local history with religious landmarks, nature observation opportunities, and paths in the surrounding area. Pulečný was first mentioned in an official document in 1543.

History and Religious Landmarks

The chapel in Pulečný dates from 1934 and was extensively reconstructed in 2012. Pilgrimage masses and Advent celebrations are held in the chapel. The statue of Saint Anne on the Scheybal Trail was restored in 2019 and consecrated in spring 2020.

The roadside shrines in Pulečný have been protected as historic monuments since April 22, 2025. They are a column-shaped wayside shrine with a niche and a gilded Latin cross. The cross near house no. 23 stands in the southern part of Pulečný, east of a local road. Joseph Pietsch from Pulečný had it erected in 1828.

The Pietà ensemble stands on the upper edge of the settlement beside the road from Klíčnov to Pulečný. It includes reliefs of Saint Joseph, Saint Anne, and Saint Joachim and is dated 1795 on the shaft. The stone roadside shrines, also known as "Sloup sv. Prokopa" or "Morový sloup", are located at the intersection of Zálesí and Smetanova streets.

Nature and Surroundings

Bullheads (Cottus gobio) can still be observed today in the stream flowing through Pulečný. Maršovicky vrch is a mountain in the vicinity of Pulečný. Černá Studnice, Pustina, and Mariánská hora are mountains in the area around Pulečný.

Valdštejn is a church in the vicinity of Pulečný. Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice is a church in the wider regional area around Pulečný.

Educational Trail and Viewpoint

The Scheybal Educational Trail leads through Pulečný and includes 17 stations featuring significant monuments, historical stories, or natural attractions.

The Kopanina lookout tower is a brick tower dating from 1894 and can be reached on foot from Pulečný via marked hiking trails. From the Kopanina lookout tower, there are views of Hruboskalsko, the ruins of Trosky, Turnov, Ještěd, the Krkonoše Mountains, and Kozákov.

Winter in the Surroundings

A cross-country skiing loop of approximately 30 kilometers leads from Huntířov via Maršovice, Dalešice, and Pulečný back to Huntířov. The surrounding terrain in Pulečný is particularly suitable for skiing by children and beginners because of its gentle slopes.
