Krásný Les: Hotels and accommodation

The Church of Saint Helena in Krásný Les is an example of early Gothic religious architecture in the Frýdlantsko region. Every year on Christmas Day, the SPUNT Liberec association hosts a live astronomical clock at the water mill, accompanied by a tasting of homemade products.

Culture

The original Church of Saint Helena in Krásný Les has retained an almost square nave, a trapezoidal presbytery area adjoining it to the east, and a low sacristy.

History

In the wider regional vicinity of Krásný Les lies Czocha Castle - Zamek XIVw. The Zamek Gryf castle and the Kraftwerk Hagenwerder ruins, as well as the ruins of the “Former Lauban Railway Substation”, are also located there.

Landscape

The mountains Hřebenáč, Špičák, Měděnec and Poledník are located in the vicinity of Krásný Les.

Hadí kopec is a geomorphologically distinctive basalt massif divided by the Lomnice River and featuring examples of columnar jointing.
