Rynoltice: Hotels and Accommodations

Rynoltice combines a clearly dated architectural history with marked trails and protected landscapes. The chapel built in Rynoltice in 1669 was converted into the Baroque Church of St. Barbara between 1745 and 1748.

The Church of St. Barbara has an organ with 16 stops.

Nature

The Velký Vápenný Nature Reserve protects primeval maple-beech forests at summit level and flower-rich beech forests on Devonian limestone. It also includes a former quarry and karst features such as underground spaces, ponors, and a spring.

Bílé Kameny is a protected natural monument within the Lužické hory Protected Landscape Area. Weathering has shaped the sandstone at Bílé Kameny into rounded, mushroom-shaped, and almost spherical forms. There are also several pseudokarst cavities and small caves, formed through weathering and the erosion of coarse-grained sandstone layers.

Trails

Five marked tourist hiking trails pass through the municipality of Rynoltice. The green hiking trail 1 begins at Rynoltice railway station and runs together with cycle route 25 to Jítrava. The blue hiking trail passes through the Polesí district of Rynoltice and leads past the Havran rock formation there.

The “Po hřbetech slonů” hike begins in Rynoltice on a road signposted CT 25. From Sloní Kameny, a red-marked trail leads to Jítrava; a green-marked hiking trail then leads back to Rynoltice.

A shared path for pedestrians and cyclists was built in Rynoltice in the direction of the cemetery. The section in Rynoltice is the first stage of a planned cycle route intended to connect Rynoltice with Jablonné v Podještědí.

Transport

Rynoltice has bus and train connections with other towns and municipalities.
