Šimonovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Šimonovice combines sacred buildings, a traditional music festival and the Rašovka lookout tower with surroundings where several prominent mountains are located. The references to the village and its surroundings range from the Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua to Valdštejn and the Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice.

Church and Chapel

The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua is a historicist, longitudinal, single-nave sacred building oriented north–south. A prismatic tower stands on its southern side.

In the Minkovice district of the municipality of Šimonovice, the chapel was consecrated and dedicated to the Divine Mercy on 3 April 2016.

Rašovka on the Ještěd Ridge

The Rašovka lookout tower is considered the first privately built masonry lookout tower in the modern history of the Czech Republic. Since 2006, it has stood on the edge of the Rašovka settlement on the Ještěd Ridge; Rašovka is a district of the municipality of Šimonovice.

The Rašovka lookout tower is 22.5 metres high. The tower and the associated restaurant began operating on 10 June 2006 on the occasion of the Svatoantonínská pouť.

ŠIMIFEST

ŠIMIFEST is a traditional music festival of the municipality of Šimonovice. At ŠIMIFEST 2026 on 22 August 2026, regional bands will perform live music. The programme also includes tastings of regional beers as well as sweet and savoury refreshments.
