Bukovina U Čisté: Hotels and Accommodation

Bukovina u Čisté is a valley settlement bordered by Studenec in its upper part; to the east, the valley continues toward the municipality of Dolní Kalná. The landscape and nature in the surrounding area are picturesque and relatively little affected by human intervention.

Landscape and Townscape

The highest parts of Bukovina u Čisté offer views of the Krkonoše Mountains. The Hekovy lípy are three big-leaved lime trees with trunk circumferences of 445, 460, and 490 cm. Two areas south of the stream are considered particularly noteworthy because of the picturesque, now rare, and undisturbed integration of log cabins and farm buildings into the terrain; this layout is typical of a foothill settlement.

Culture and History

A number of traditional log cabins have been preserved in Bukovina u Čisté. Cabin No. 20 is a listed building. Bukovina u Čisté is also home to a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1776. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1386.

Events and Local Facilities

The natural area in Bukovina u Čisté, established in 1980, was used to host social and cultural events, including concerts, children's days, and reunions of former residents. The Přírodní areál includes a hard court used for locally significant tennis, volleyball, and fistball tournaments. The Přírodní areál has a capacity of 1,000 people and can be rented. The cultural center in Bukovina u Čisté is used for fire brigade balls, children's balls, concerts, discussion events, dances, and wedding celebrations.
