Morcinov: Hotels and Accommodation
The Golden Trail, a network of paths in the Bohemian Paradise, runs through Morcinov. Since the late 1930s, it has been established as a single route by connecting existing paths and marking them uniformly.
Nature and Landscape
The locality of Ředice u Morcinova forms part of the geological features of the area. It is registered as a geologically interesting locality and is part of the Bohemian Paradise National Geopark. The site contains weathered amygdaloid andesitoid, as well as chalcedony, bluish agate, quartz druses and analcime. Ředice u Morcinova lies southwest of Lomnice nad Popelkou.
Smetanova Viewpoint lies between Rváčov and Morcinov. In the wider region, a walk across the Ředice Plateau leads to views over northern Bohemia, including the Bohemian Paradise, the Jizera Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains.
The Kozlov castle ruins are part of the Cidlinský hřeben Nature Monument. It protects a forest complex stretching from Peklovsi to Paseky, with significant herbaceous undergrowth and the largest population of wood ants in the Podkrkonoší region.
Paths and Excursions
The excursion to Tábor leads from Lomnice nad Popelkou via Popelka, Morcinov and Košov to Vrch Tábor, and then back to Lomnice nad Popelkou. The route initially follows green trail markers to Popelka, then red trail markers through Morcinov and Košov to Tábor. From the lookout tower, the return route follows red trail markers back to Lomnice nad Popelkou.
The Košov–Kozlov–Morcínov–Cidlina Spring loop is 8 km long. On the Cidlina–Kozlov–Lomnice route, the path leads through Morcínov, with further hiking trails descending towards Lomnice nad Popelkou, where it joins the red-marked Zlatá stezka Českého ráje.
A 26.5 km section of the Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise leads from Kozákov via Morcínov and Košov to Jičín.

Between Košov and Morcinov in Český ráj lies a little-known golf course with six holes. An approximately one-hour walk begins in Košov. From there, a path marked in yellow, blue and green leads uphill, while the Morcinov holiday settlement lies in a small valley below.
