Dětřichov Nad Bystřicí: Hotels and Accommodation

The Panské louky educational trail begins at the “Drážka” forest road on the eastern edge of Dětřichov nad Bystřicí. It is a marked, 6 km route of moderate difficulty, with paved and unpaved sections. The educational trail has nine stations; the tour takes 2.5 hours.

Nature and Landscape

The Panské louky Nature Reserve protects a typical community of spring-fed swamp forests on a watershed. The Bystřička stream flows through Dětřichov nad Bystřicí, rises north of the municipality and reaches the watershed between the Danube and Oder rivers. The Mokřiny u Krahulčí Nature Reserve protects wetland ecosystems in the floodplain of the Trusovický potok as well as populations of protected wetland plants. The area lies in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Dětřichov nad Bystřicí.

The Slunečná peak lies between Dětřichov nad Bystřicí and Nové Valteřice and, at 800 m, is the highest point of the Nízký Jeseník. A significant and touristically attractive part of the Údolí Bystřice Nature Park lies in the Olomoucký kraj along the Bystřice River. In the Rýmařovsko area, the park extends only into the cadastral territories of Ryžoviště, Lomnice and Dětřichov nad Bystřicí.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Lawrence in Krahulčí was built in the historicist style at the beginning of the 20th century and reconstructed in recent years. The information boards along the educational trail provide information about the Beroun–Dětřichov–Valteřice forest railway.
