Dívčí Hrad: Hotels and Accommodation

Dívčí Hrad is home to a Renaissance château, the Oblík natural site, the green-marked KČT hiking trail “Srdcem Osoblažska” and the Třemešná–Osoblaha narrow-gauge railway. The château is a Renaissance building erected by the Bruntálští z Vrbna on the site of a medieval castle.

Culture

The Dívčí Hrad château complex was declared a cultural monument in 1958 and entered in the Central List of Cultural Monuments. This historical significance is complemented by Festival pod zámkem, a genre-spanning music festival held in Dívčí Hrad that traditionally takes place every two years.

Nature

Oblík has independent geological significance. The protected natural site preserves an exposed outcrop of carbonaceous limestone with stratigraphic and palaeontological significance. At the same time, Oblík is a Carboniferous palaeontological locality with fossilised remains of brachiopods, cephalopods, bivalves and trilobites.
