Vrbno Pod Pradedem: Hotels and Accommodation

The Vyhlídka Praděd educational trail begins below the shooting range in Mnichov, a district of Vrbno pod Pradědem. It comprises five themed stops focusing on the Vrbensko region and its local nature; in winter, parts of the educational trail can be accessed on cross-country skis.

Nature

A forest path runs along the Opava River. It is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists and can also be navigated with a stroller.

Culture

Villa Friedrich Grohmann dates from 1922. The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael was built in the Empire style between 1840 and 1843. Its altar unusually faces west. Visits to the church and its tower are possible by prior telephone arrangement.

The Iveta Strnadová glassworks offers experiential tours by prior arrangement. At the TOMI glassworks, master glassblowers work with authentic techniques that were already used in medieval glassworks; visitors can watch the glassblowers at work.

The small château is privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside.
