The Osoblažský výběžek Nature Monument encompasses the cadastral territory of Hlinka; the fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina) is protected in the Osoblažský výběžek Nature Monument. Route E in the Osoblažsko region runs through Hlinka and is suitable for children and Nordic walking enthusiasts.

Culture and History

The Hlinka memorial to those who fell in the First World War was created by the stonemason Ferdinand Schroth and the sculptor and teacher H. Strauss. Hlinka Fortress burned down in 1626 and was only a ruin by 1648.

The Church of St. Valentine in Hlinka has foundations dating from the 17th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century. It was declared a cultural monument on 2 August 1993.
