Kyjovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Kyjovice Chateau is protected as a cultural monument under registration number ÚSKP 22598/8-1425. It was built in 1783 in the late Baroque style and remodelled in the Empire style in the first half of the 19th century. The chateau complex includes an 18th-century statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. The new Chapel of St. Vitus in Kyjovice was also consecrated by Bishop Josef Schinzel on 15 September 1929.

Landscape and Chateau Park

Kyjovice lies at an elevation of 378 metres on the elevated Polanská Plateau of the Nízký Jeseník mountain range. The Polančice stream rises in Kyjovice. In clear weather, the hills behind Kyjovice offer views of the Beskids panorama.

Rarer tree species were planted in Kyjovice Chateau Park, particularly under Count Bedřich Stolberg. After visiting Kyjovice Chateau Park, visitors can leave it through a gate into the adjacent forest.

Hiking Trails and Cycling Route

A green-marked hiking trail passes through Kyjovice. A yellow-marked hiking trail begins at the Kyjovice bus station and leads towards the Sezina Valley. For cycling, Cycle Route 6140 runs from Kyjovice through Čavisov towards the spa town of Hýlov.
