Čermná Ve Slezsku: Hotels and Accommodation

In the central part of Čermná ve Slezsku stands the late Baroque parish church of St. Margaret. It was built in 1792 and restored in 1855. In front of the church stands a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1853; it is a protected cultural monument.

Nature

The Čermná stream rises on the northeastern edge of Čermná ve Slezsku near the railway embankment at an elevation of 520 meters. The Čermná – důl Potlachový Site of European Importance is a regionally significant overwintering site for barbastelle bats. It was designated at the site of a former slate quarry. The cave at the Čermná – důl Potlachový site is not open to the public; entry is prohibited.

Things to Do

The Břidlicová stezka educational trail can be accessed at the Čermná ve Slezsku railway stop. It is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. Along the route, visitors learn about the history of clay slate mining. Čermná ve Slezsku railway station is located on railway line 276 between Suchdol nad Odrou and Budišov nad Budišovkou.
