Culture and History

The Church of St. Catherine in Štěpánkovice is a single-nave Baroque building with a presbytery closed on three sides. It was built in 1756 on the site of an earlier wooden building. Saint Catherine of Alexandria is the patron saint of the church and parish in Štěpánkovice.

Albertovec is part of the municipality of Štěpánkovice; in 1952, it began serving as a stud farm. Štěpánkovice is known for its successful ethnographic ensembles and formerly also had amateur theatre.

Sports and Events

The public sports area on the school grounds in Štěpánkovice includes tennis, nohejbal and volleyball courts, a football pitch, beach volleyball, a practice tennis wall, firefighter sports facilities, a running track and sports equipment rental.

The Štěpánkovice Municipality Day is a traditional event for all age groups with an extensive cultural and sports programme. The Štěpánkovice Gardeners' Association organises well-attended fruit, vegetable and flower exhibitions, accompanied by a thanksgiving mass for the harvest.

At the Štěpánkovický kros 2026, tourists were invited to a walk starting at 9 a.m.
