The Lesy u Bezuchova protected area also extends across the cadastral territory of Bezuchov and protects oak-hornbeam forests.

The Dřevohostickým lesem educational trail is designed as a 6 km circular route. It is located between municipalities such as Dřevohostice, Bezuchov, Hradčany and Radkova Lhota in the Přerov District and has 12 stations with information boards.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Florian in Bezuchov dates from 1895, stands in the village square and has been completely renovated. A granite cross in Bezuchov has been restored; two sandstone crosses in Bezuchov have been reconstructed.

The circular village square of Bezuchov formerly had three gates, called Stará brána, Nová brána and Zábraní. The local Brethren community was based in the Brethren House No. 1 by the Old Gate.

On Palm Sunday before Easter, a festive girls' procession known as “Májkování” takes place in Bezuchov.

Cycling Routes

The Bystřice pod Hostýnem–Helfštýn cycling route passes through Bezuchov. Bezuchov is also considered a hub for the cycling routes that run through the Záhoří region.
