History and Chapel
In 1447, Lhota belonged to the Helfštýn estate. In 1834, the inhabitants built the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, which was restored in summer 2020. Weddings can be held in the restored chapel.
Archaeology and Local Landscape
A surface survey conducted on June 9, 2013, at the “Za Humny” site in Lhota uncovered fragments of Linear Pottery culture ceramics, a small quantity of chipped stone industry, and a very well-preserved perforated axe. The “Za Humny” archaeological site lies on a gently south-sloping hillside toward the right bank of the Šišemka stream.
The “Historická stříkačka – koňka” was brought from Brno to Lhota in 1895 and ceremonially consecrated. The Šišemka stream flows through Lhota, and the extensive Svinec Forest stretches northeast of Lhota.
Cycling Connections
Cycle route No. 5035 from Týn nad Bečvou to Ratiboř passes through Lhota 3.5 km after its starting point. It is a moderately difficult, signposted road route with an asphalt surface and is suitable for all types of bicycles. Route 6137 connects Lhota with Soběchleby and Blazice.

The section of Road II/437 between Týn nad Bečvou and Lhota is completely closed due to construction work from June 29 to December 15, 2026.
