Všechovice: Hotels and accommodation

The Church of the Holy Trinity stands at the highest point of the municipality. Its presbytery contains two painted windows depicting Saint Teresa and Saint John Sarkander.

Culture and history

The Renaissance core of Všechovice Chateau was built on the site of a fortification dating from 1378 and includes coats of arms and cellars. Around 1770, the chateau was rebuilt in the Baroque style; on two sides, it is surrounded by a small, freely accessible park.

The exhibition about Bohuslav Fuchs in Všechovice is located in the former school building dating from 1888. It includes archival and contemporary photographs, documents, plans, films and audio recordings, as well as five architectural models with Braille labels that blind visitors can touch.

The cemetery complex in Všechovice was built in 1926–1927 according to a design by Bohuslav Fuchs, who was from Všechovice. In the Czech context, the cemetery is considered an exceptional example of early functionalist cemetery architecture.

At the Býškovice–Horní Újezd crossroads stands the Boží muka, a Neoclassical structure dating from around 1780.

The Šimon association organises Záhoří Balls and theatre performances. It also organises the Vodění medvěda carnival tradition and takes part in traditional pilgrimages and folklore festivals.

Nature and landscape

The Juhyně River flows through Všechovice. Všechovice is located in the Záhoří landscape. The landscape is bordered by the Hostýnské vrchy hills to the south; the Oderské vrchy hills can be seen in the distance to the north.

Všechovice is home to the tis červený yew, a protected memorial tree that has been listed in the central nature conservation register since 2004. The land with the yew is freely accessible.

Trails and places

A blue-marked hiking trail passes through the cadastral area of Všechovice. Several cycle routes run through Všechovice and the surrounding area. Near Všechovice, a trail to the ruins of Trmačov Castle branches off from the blue-marked hiking route.

Otakar Šatánek’s garden railway in Všechovice has 150 metres of track running around numerous model buildings.
