Partutovice is located in the Vítkov Highlands. The municipality describes the landscape as picturesque and almost untouched, as well as a recreational area. The Ludina stream springs in the wetlands of the Bejchlovci forest and subsequently flows into the Bečva.

Culture and history

The Maršálkův větrný mlýn windmill was built in 1837 as a wooden windmill of the German type. It is a national cultural monument and was entered into the state register of cultural monuments in 1958. The interior of the windmill is accessible by telephone appointment.

The present-day Baroque Church of St. Nicholas in Partutovice was built in 1786–1789 on the site of an older, small and severely dilapidated church; it contains Baroque organs. The municipality of Partutovice also commissioned the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in 1802.

Excursions and summer

The 4-kilometer excursion route “Přes břidlicový lom až k dřevěnému mlýnu” runs through Partutovice and continues to a wooden windmill. It is suitable for cyclists and can also be done by car.

The regional route “Po stopách využívání vodní a větrné energie” leads to the Větrný mlýn v Partutovicích windmill. In summer, Partutovice offers tourists and cycling tourists numerous leisure opportunities. The seasonal U Větrného mlýna kiosk offers refreshments especially to tourists and cycling tourists.
