Luže: Hotels and Accommodation

Luže is home to the Baroque pilgrimage Church of Panny Marie Pomocné na Chlumku. It was built between 1690 and 1695 by the Italian architect G. B. Alliprandi according to a plan by P. I. Bayer.

Culture and History

During the summer season, the Jewish cemetery in Luže is freely accessible to all tourists. The path known as Šilboch leads from the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk to the courtyard of Košumberk Castle; the local-history educational trail from Luže conveys its history.

Nature

Hamzovo Park and Arboretum is open to the public year-round and free of charge. Approximately 1,500 cultivars of trees, shrubs and plants from six continents grow there across 13 hectares.
