Rybník: Hotels and accommodations
Rybník lies in the foothills of the Orlické hory along both banks of the Třebovka River. The town therefore combines a clearly described location on the river with facts about nature and the landscape in the surrounding area, both nearby and farther afield.
Landscape and nature
Around Rybník, the Třebovské stěny Nature Reserve protects flower-rich beech forests and scree forests with admixtures of silver fir and sycamore maple, as well as wild-growing plants and free-living animals.
The mountains of Zámecká hora and Řetová are located around Rybník. In the wider regional area, Lazek and Cukrová Bouda are also located there; these are likewise classified as mountains. The protected trees in Rybník include an old pear tree in the field above the GAPO HK premises.
Sports and trails
Rybník is home to the “Srnov – TJ Sokol Rybník” sports complex, with a football pitch, a volleyball court, tennis courts, and an ice rink.
The starting point of the trail is about 2 km from Česká Třebová railway station and can be reached from there by public transport or on foot.
Culture
Rybník is home to the “Kostel Rozeslání sv. Apoštolů” church. It was consecrated on July 15, 1882.
