Nature
The nearby Studenské skály rocks lie about 2 km south of Vlčkovice and can be reached via a walkable tourist trail. They form a rocky gorge that is approximately 20 m high in places.
Trails
The Mladkov–Letohrad route via Studený vrch passes through Vlčkovice and then climbs up to Studený vrch. It is also suitable for cycling. In addition, the 40 km route of the “Toulání kolem Orlice” event passes through Vlčkovice.
Culture
The reconciliation cross “Smírčí kříž ve Vlčkovicích” is located in the cadastral area of Vlčkovice u Mladkova. It bears an inscription with the year 1750; the lower part features a relief of a skull and crossed bones.
Services are held in the Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Vlčkovice on the second Saturday of each month: at 5:00 p.m. during standard time and at 7:00 p.m. during daylight saving time.
Local Life
During the annual “Stavění máje” tradition, residents gather in the village square of Vlčkovice on April 30 to decorate and erect a maypole.
