Vračovice-Orlov: Hotels and accommodations

The Church of St. John the Baptist complex is located in a cemetery surrounded by a wall and includes a mortuary chapel from the first half of the 19th century. The cemetery in Vračovice contains a grave commemorating victims of the Second World War, bearing the names Harry Ward and James Hall, both soldiers in the British Army, as well as an unknown Russian soldier.

Rural house No. 2 in Vračovice is a building registered as a cultural monument and documents the development of settlement architecture since the 16th century. It includes an old log room with a so-called smoke room (“dymná jizba”), which served as the main room and featured an open hearth and smoke openings above the windows.

Řetová Mountain is located in the vicinity of Vračovice-Orlov, while Jarošov Mountain lies in the wider regional area. The immediate surroundings of Vračovice-Orlov also include the K Orlovu hill [Tisová u Vysokého Mýta] and the Na Dubině hill [Tisová u Vysokého Mýta].

Between Vračovice-Orlov and Zálší lies a system of ponds regarded as an important landscape feature and a breeding area for waterfowl.

The “Krajinou rybníků” cycling route runs along marked cycle route 182 through Vračovice-Orlov. The Sloupnice–Chotěšiny–Vračovice–Zálší section is listed as 7.7 km long.
