Lisnice: Hotels and accommodations

Líšnice lies on the Divoká Orlice River in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains. The village is known for seven bridges and numerous footbridges.

Culture and history

Kostel sv. Rodiny is a pseudo-Romanesque church built between 1865 and 1868. It replaced a chapel built in 1788. A statue of the Holy Trinity dating from 1889 also stands at a bridge in Líšnice.

Community life

Every year on July 5, the Líšnice Volunteer Fire Brigade organizes the “O putovní pohár starosty obce Líšnice” competition featuring an unusual firefighting attack.

Following its ceremonial reopening on October 25, 1936, the Sokolovna in Líšnice was used for cultural and sporting activities for the entire municipality. After a fire in 1935, it was built within 18 months. Sokolovna Líšnice offers accommodation.

Cycling route

The light blue “Žamberská” cycling route starts at the sports complex in Líšnice, where an information board is located. The route is classified as moderately difficult; a reference time of two hours is given for it without stops.

A cycling route to the Pastviny Reservoir runs around the historic brick fire station in Líšnice. It was ceremonially opened on July 13, 1913, and bears the inscription “Sobě ke cti, bližnímu k ochraně”.
