Študlov is located on the northeastern edge of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in a hilly, forested landscape. 47.8 % of the cadastral area is forested.

History

The first written mention of Študlov dates from 1629 and is associated with the Křetín estate.

Culture

On the outskirts of Študlov is the log cabin “Výletiště”, which is used for various cultural events and family celebrations. The local chapel is one of Študlov’s landmarks and is named “Kaple Panny Marie Karmelské”. The chapel in Študlov contains a bell that was historically used to summon cottagers to compulsory labor.
