Koclířov: Hotels and Accommodation
Koclířov is a pilgrimage site: Českomoravská FATIMA is located in Koclířov. The religious character of the village is also reflected in the Fatima Memorial, an outdoor meditative sculpture complex.
Pilgrimage and Culture
The church in Koclířov was rebuilt and extended in the Baroque style in 1770–1771. Its unique relief decoration is located in the niches of the cemetery wall. The church is also documented as a parish church as early as 1349.
The Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre dates from 1836 and forms the fourteenth and final Station of the Cross. A replica of the Capelinha das Aparições in Fátima was also consecrated in Koclířov on 2 September. The pilgrimage site of Saint Philomena in Koclířov was confirmed in 1843.
Paths and Grounds
The Stations of the Cross rises from the former farm buildings to a hilltop above the entire pilgrimage grounds. At the end of the Stations of the Cross, this hilltop offers a view of the valley of the municipality of Koclířov and two churches.
The Minutěnka beech avenue invites visitors to meditate and relax. The gardens of the grounds are called Lurdský park.
