Vrážné: Hotels and Accommodations

Hradisko lies southwest above Vrážné and is a 474-meter-high archaeological site. At Hradisko, an oval fortification with an elliptical ground plan measuring approximately 42 × 25 meters has been preserved. The medieval structure is connected with the protection of the margrave’s property.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is located in Vrážné. Construction began in 1890, and its consecration took place in 1891.

The cultural character of the area also includes several smaller sites in the wider surroundings. In the vicinity of Vražné are the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, and the Chapel of the Sacred Heart. The monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars is located in the wider regional surroundings of Vražné. Vražné also features a worked stone block with an engraved inscription.

Nature and Landscape

Vrážné lies in the Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park. The Vráženský Stream flows through Vrážné, and the pond behind Vrážné also offers recreational opportunities for locals and visitors.

In the immediate vicinity of Vražné are Horka Hill [Biskupice u Jevíčka] and Ousov Hill[Hartinkov]. The mountains Husák and Roh are also located in the vicinity of Vražné.

Events

On September 5, 2026, the public event “Haunted Forest and Nohejbal” will take place in Vrážné, featuring a nohejbal tournament, a haunted trail, and refreshments. A Cyril and Methodius pilgrimage is also listed as an event in Vrážné.
