Čímice: Hotels and accommodations

Čímice is situated in the Pošumaví landscape, surrounded by deep forests and limestone cliffs.

Nature

Čímické jezírko is a flooded former limestone quarry in private ownership. Its water has blue-green hues; the site is not accessible to the public. Čimická vyhlídka offers an exceptionally wide-ranging view.

Culture

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is a well-preserved religious building from the second half of the 19th century. It was consecrated on November 22, 1863, and is a cultural monument.

The memorial to those who fell in the world wars stands in Čímice's small village square in front of the municipal office.

Paths and transport

The marked Vintířova stezka hiking trail runs through the Čímice area. Cycle route No. 121 crosses the eastern tip of Čímice and connects the neighboring places of Žichovice and Bílenice.

The path to Čimická vyhlídka begins at the road by a car repair shop; the Čímice walking loop leads via Čimická vyhlídka. Čímice is served by bus services and is connected to the nearby Žichovice railway station on České dráhy's railway line between Klatovy and Horažďovice.
