Líšina: Hotels and Accommodation

Líšina lies in the valley of the Merklínka stream. The Merklínka flows through the centre of the village, and the agricultural character of the Merklínka Valley has been preserved to this day.

Landscape

The location in the valley and the agricultural character preserved to this day are among the defining descriptive features of Líšina. In a diversion notice from 25 to 28 April 2026, Líšina was listed on the Stod–Lelov–Líšina–Čelákovy section of bus route 551.

History and Culture

The first written mention of Líšina dates from 1180. From 1227, Líšina belonged to the estate of Chotěšov Monastery.

In the vicinity of Líšina, archaeological finds of burial mounds attest to settlement of the landscape as early as the 4th century BC. The Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross stands on the road between Stod and Merklín and is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

Farmstead No. 46 in Líšina includes stone granaries with a double roof truss. Timber-framed walls are visible on the farmstead grounds.

Cycling

The official “Pohodová” cycle route runs from Dobřany via Dnešice, Halter Valley, Přestavlky, Dolní and Horní Lažany, Líšina, Holýšov, Hradec, Lisov, Stod, Mantov, Chotěšov and Metálka to Vstiš and Dobřany.

Other places: Jarov U Blovic, Netunice, Kramolín U Nepomuka, Nové Mitrovice, Chotěšov, Dobrany, Dnešice, Honezovice.
